Nevertheless, we still recommend replacing your underwear every 2-6 hours to prevent vaginal irritation or infection. (~2-4 hours during the day. ~6 hours overnight)
NOTE: We highly suggest doing a home test for the first 3 days of menstruation before going outside, for you to adjust to the new period environment.

- What are menstrual or period underwear?
Period underwear is menstrual product that absorb your period flow. Every pair is designed to eliminate moisture, control odor, be super-absorbent and be leak-proof. This means they keep you fresh and dry each use.
- How do I care for my menstrual undies?
Washing your undies shouldn't be complicated, so we designed our products to be super easy to wash.
Step 1. Wash the undies before wearing for the first time for maximum absorbency during personal use.
Step 2. After use, rinse in cold water (<30°) until water runs clear.
Step 3. Wash in cold water (now or later) with mild detergent. Hand wash is great. Machine wash is okay.
Step 4. Hang to dry (preferably under the sun).
Note: Don't use softener or bleach as this can decrease the absorbency of the underwear's natural fiber. Never machine dry or iron.
- What are the differences between your reusable products?
For super light period, we recommend our Marikit 2-Layer Period Underwear in placement of pantyliner. Other menstrual product’ support (eg. Malaya Cup/Mayumi Pads) is needed.
For light period, Malana Period Underwear best suit the category. It can absorb 20ml-40ml (front to back) of menstrual fluid or equivalent to 1-2 pads or tampons.
For moderate period, our Maliya, Sinaya and Dihas Period Underwear can stand alone as this can hold 30-50ml (front to back) of menstrual fluid or equivalent to 1-3 sanitary pads.
For light to heavy period, the use our Mayumi Pads, Malaya Cup or Sehana Disc is highly recommended.
